B. We reserve the right to make changes to the "User Policy", "Community Guidelines" and "Privacy Policy". We will make every effort to inform you of these changes, it is your responsibility to periodically review these policies.  If you do not agree with any change made, please discontinue use of this website.

A. All articles in this policy refer to "Registered Users", including but not limited to those who submit written works, screenplays, movie trailers, and other media for posting, and visitors who do not register.

B. Cinexxus.com has links to third-party websites.  Be advised that our Policies do not reflect those of the external (non-cinexxus) sites; therefore, you should familiarize yourself with the third-party's terms.  We make every effort to provide links that are relevant to the film industry; however, we are not responsible nor are we liable for any content, practices or policies/terms of any external site that we link to.

Registered Accounts 

A. In order to access and use some features of the website, you will have to create a Cinexxus account. You may never use another's account without permission. When creating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure.  You should always include at least 1 number, 1 uppercase letter and 1 lowercase letter in your password. You must notify Cinexxus immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

B. If you authorize someone else to use your account, you must provide a written statement to Cinexxus stating:

• The length of time that person is authorized to use your account e.g "10 days from 9/14/07" or "9/14-24/07"
• The email address, phone number and full name of the person you are authorizing
• You must verify your information e.g. provide your pin number
• The reason you are authorizing someone else to use your account

General Use of Cinexxus.com

A. You agree not to distribute, copy, or plagarize any content or media contained in this website, including, but not limited to user submissions.

B. You must hold the copyright to any media including but not limited to screenplays, movie trailer and articles that you submit or upload. (All work must be original).

C. If you do not hold the copyright, you agree that the media is not subject to any other copyright, protected by trade secret, or otherwise subject to third-party proprietary rights.  

D. Cinexxus reserves the right to discontinue any aspect of the website at any time without prior knowledge.

A. By identifying your user account as either "Filmmaker" and/or "Screenwriter", you specifically agree to the following articles.

B. By choosing to upload/submit media to be posted on Cinexxus.com, you specifically agree to the following articles.

C. Cinexxus.com will act as an "agent" when a registered user uploads a movie trailer or screenplay.

1. An "agent" is hereby defined as a middle-man who connects non-professional movie creators in any capacity with professionals who are looking to buy or invest in said projects.
2. As any agent in the film industry, Cinexxus will be entitled to a commission of 2.5% of the selling price or a fee of 2.5% of the investment amount.
   

D. "Filmmaker" media uploads are restricted to:

1. Length of no longer than 1/3 of the original trailer
2. Byte size of no more than 30MB
1. After approval of your description, you will email two trailer versions: the "upload" as previously described and the full-length trailer.
2. These will be used according to the policy described in "Specific use..." (below).
3. To see how Cinexxus protects your works, please review the "Privacy Policy".

E. "Screenwriter" media uploads are restricted to:

1. 5 pages of the full-length screenplay (pages submitted to be determined by writer).
   
1. After approval, you will email the entire screenplay to Cinexxus.
2. These will be used according to the policy described in "Specific use..." (below)
3. To see how Cinexxus protects your work, please review the "Privacy Policy"

F. You agree that Cinexxus, acting in the capacity of "agent", will monitor all communications between registered users and interested third parties.

• Only your first name will appear on your media upload (not including articles).  Cinexxus will privately retain all other relevant information associated with your upload.
  
• You will not embed any contact information in your media upload or the media itself.  Should this occur, your upload will be rejected.

•  Interested third-parties will contact us with their professional information and can request furthur information regarding your media upload.
  
• Should more information be requested, Cinexxus will, with discretion, provide the full work and open communication acting on behalf of the user.

Third-party Use of Cinexxus.com

A. You agree to use this service in good faith e.g. you will not browse through the galleries with the intent of getting an idea for your own work.

B. You agree to provide Cinexxus with all information requested and the information provided is true and correct.

C. You agree to allow Cinexxus to verify your information through publicly available means.

D. You agree that Cinexxus will be acting as an "agent" in this service.

1. You will honor that capacity and not try to contact the user through means other than via Cinexxus. 

Account Termination

A. Cinexxus reserves the right to terminate your account at any time without notice if we believe you have violated the terms specified in this document ("User Policy"), "Privacy Policy", and/or "Community Guidelines".

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

A. If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any user-submitted media or other content infringes on your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") by providing Cinexxus with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C 512(c)(3) for further detail):

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site;
2. Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail;
3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
4. Verification of copyright and print and/or electronic signature of the copyright holder or person authorized to act on their behalf.

A. You affirm that you are 18 years old or older at the time of registering for an account on Cinexxus, or an emancipated minor or possess written parental/legal guardian consent to use this website.  If you do not have consent, or do not fulfill the other requirements, please be satisfied with simply visiting and do not register for an account.
